The League of Iuppiter
Spyre Hunting Party
Lore
Most Spyrers are meant to come back to high society once they tire of the hunt. It's a game for them; the Underhive a toy to be discarded once the Spyrer has played enough. Hunting parties disband and the hunters graft themselves back together with pieces of the very same people they've been hunting. It's the natural life cycle of a hunting party, and yet Iovanius Helmawr IV's League of Iuppiter spit in the face of nature. Those who join them often find themselves completely disillusioned with the facade of politeness that society demands of them, and one way or another intend to give themselves over to the base pleasure of violence. Who needs anything else, when your eternal playtime is this interesting?
Notes
Iovanarius Helmawr IV
Leader
Lore
Iovanarius showed potential, thought the Lord Helmawr. Possessed of great fervour and a generational strategic talent, he was thought to have potential to succeed the current Lord. One with a good eye for people, however, could have seen in his eyes how his nigh-religious zeal for dominance outstripped any other desire. He cares not for controlling the Underhive through bureaucracy, nor does he have any time for diplomacy. If Iovanarius Helmawr is to rule, it is through blood.
Notes
Lucan Harrow
Champion
Lore
Lucan Harrow is a man with very little to lose. He has been considered a missing persons case for a year now, and those who knew him do not pursue him. They know he would not want to be found. His immense social and monetary debts would have him slated for years in prison or death if he returned to society, and the house Harrow is already a footnote in the Noble Houses. The Palanite Enforcers are technically searching for him to this day, but it is a formality. They're paid off by the Harrow to never find him, and by now he has found peace with the eternal hunt he's signed himself up for.
Notes
Nausicaa Omphale Craft
Champion
Lore
Nausicaa Omphale Craft never had any taste for society. Asociality defined much of her younger years, and while house Craft wanted her to grow up to be a Governor or somesuch, she was eventually decided a lost cause. Nothing could be done for her case, and so off she was sent to the Underhive. If she can't be useful to them politically, at least she can thin the numbers of those awful gangers and keep things under control that way. She lives for combat, and finds a terrible joy in blood shed; quite frankly, she doesn't really care who it is she's fighting for, so long as someone's dying and it isn't her.
Notes
St. John Ran Lo
Champion
Lore
Saint John of house Ran Lo is the runt of the League of Iuppiter. He was sent down to take a year as a Spyrer to prove his tactical mind was sharp as need be; the Lord Ran Lo believed St. John to be of incredible talent, and so sent him to the League of Iuppiter. A trial by fire, he thought. If he can keep up with the League, he can keep up with anything Necromunda throws at him. In reality, St. John is simply a sharp wit; his frailty makes him a poor choice for any Spyrer party. Every advantage he gains in battle is hard-fought in mind games and clever maneuvres.
