Valkyrie 7, Precinct 51, "Psyranglers"
Palanite Enforcers (BoL)
Lore
Many of the members of this team started as a quick response team based on one of the massive floating Precinct-Fortresses that patrol the Poison Sea. They were formed to address a sudden surge of unsanctioned psykers popping up in the pirate gangs, which some claimed were kids born to users in the wake of a new Narcolord flooding the market with Ghast some years ago. Whether that is true or not, this team gained a reputation for bringing them in alive for "retraining" in service of Lord Helmawr as his Haunts. Their skills in bringing in psykers often led to them capturing other gangers. Those with bounties were claimed. Those without were treated like the irradiated fish caught over the side of the floating Fortress. Catch and Release. If there were a few more credits to pay for armour to protect the new kid, or meds to help an old captain's aching bones, so much the better! They've been tasked with investigating a rival dealer operating out of Hive Obitus, who doesn't seem to be willing to have the same "arrangement" with the Enforcers as the more reasonable Narcolords that prowl the Sea. Of course, they will continue to keep the peace and bring in unsanctioned psykers while they do this. Surely nothing else is going to complicate this...
Radec "Ringer" Reddington
Champion
Lore
Gaining the nickname after the amount of recruits he sent off with dents in their helmets and "ringing their bells" (including a rather unfortunate Parker), Radec "Ringer Reddington was a former minor chem dealer with delusions of grandeur before his "recruitment". He managed to retain a little more of himself through the indoctrination process, including an acerbic tongue and an unhealthy obsession with credits and chems. He seems to have the uncanny knack to find a black market or underground gambling ring within 12 hours of arriving anywhere. He has mastered the art of the quick magnacle, and is fearless as he charges towards the enemy. Of course, usually the enemy is blinded or webbed and all he has to do is slap the cuffs on, but every perp they snag is a potential bounty that can be turned into chems and gear for him and his friends, and that's damn good in Ringer's book!
