Special Rules

  • Know no fear
    Astartes are immune to the Broken condition.
  • Indomitable
    All Astartes may choose to ignore the effects of steps 2 and 3 of the Blaze condition. They roll one additional die when making a Webbed recovery.
  • Transhuman physiology
    Astartes always count as being equipped with an industrial respirator. If an Astartes would be injured by a weapon with the Gas trait, they instead take a wound. If the Astartes has no wounds remaining, they take a flesh wound.

    If a weapon with the Unstable would take the Astartes Out of Action, they suffer a number of wounds equal to the damage characteristic of the attack.
  • Astartes power armour
    Grants a 5+ save rolled on 2D6.
  • Transhuman dread
    Astartes are unnaturally fast an nimble for their size. They make 3 actions per activation instead of 2. In addition, shooting is a simple action.
