Black Junction: First Blood
Campaign Summary
First Blood is a three-scenario introductory campaign designed to teach the core mechanics of Necromunda while establishing the story of Black Junction.
The Story So Far...
There are few places in the underhive where fortunes can still be made.
Black Junction is one of them.
For over two hundred years, the dome lay sealed beneath collapsed tunnels and shifting ash, its existence reduced to forgotten archives and contradictory reports. Official records claimed the settlement had been destroyed during a catastrophic structural failure, its transport routes severed and its inhabitants lost forever.
Then, against all expectation, an Enforcer reconnaissance patrol uncovered one of its ancient gatehouses.
The air was stale.
The lights still burned.
Emergency generators, untouched for generations, continued to feed power into forgotten streets and silent manufactoria. Hab blocks stood empty, cargo stations waited for trains that never came, and blast doors remained locked against whatever history had been buried within.
Word spread quickly.
Guild caravans arrived first, eager to survey the dome's resources. Engineers followed to restore power and reopen transport routes. Refugees, traders, prospectors and scavengers soon poured through the reclaimed gates, each hoping to claim a new beginning in the shadows of Hive Primus.
Where opportunity exists, violence is never far behind.
The first gangs have entered Black Junction, each determined to establish themselves before rivals can gain a foothold. Alliances are fragile, trust is scarce, and every abandoned warehouse or forgotten generator station could hold the key to future power.
Yet while settlers look to the future, others see only profit in chaos.
An outlaw known as Raze "The Jackal" Kord has begun gathering followers amongst the new arrivals, exploiting confusion and fear as Black Junction struggles to find its feet. His ambitions threaten to plunge the fledgling settlement into bloodshed before it has the chance to become anything more than another forgotten ruin.
Over the coming days, every battle will shape the future of Black Junction.
The city has been rediscovered.
Now it must decide what it will become.
