A forgotten sector of the hive is reopened after a major discovery. Enforcers move to contain it, gangs rush to claim it, and belief, muscle, and ambition collide as order slowly gives way to ash and violence.

Deep in the Lower Reaches, a long-sealed sub-sector has been quietly reopened after the discovery of something valuable — its true nature known only to a select few. Archeotech, data-vaults, relics, or carefully planted lies… word spreads faster than truth ever could.

The Enforcers arrive first, tasked with stabilising the zone and restoring order before panic takes hold. Their patrols are stretched thin, their authority challenged by a hive that has learned to operate beyond the reach of law.

Not far behind them come the Orlock crews. Practical and organised, they move quickly to secure transit routes, supply lines, and key infrastructure. Where others see chaos, the Orlocks see leverage — and where leverage exists, profit follows.

The Cawdor faithful soon declare the sector consecrated ground, a place of trial and judgement. Through fire and sacrifice, they claim the hive itself has spoken, and that the discovery must be tested in flame.

Alongside these known powers comes a custom House, operating with unclear motives and methods. They keep their distance, watching, probing, and shaping events from the margins. Whether they seek control, destruction, or something far stranger remains to be seen.

As weeks pass, skirmishes escalate into turf wars. Curfews are imposed and broken. Supply routes become battlefields. Faith clashes with pragmatism, order with opportunity. By the campaign’s end, the Lower Reaches will either be stabilised, exploited, or reduced to ash — another scar carved into the endless body of the hive.

Nothing stays sealed forever.
