Kluk z hive s dobrým srdcem. Bezcenný jako miliony dalších. Žil s mámou u úlového přístavu. Jeden z máminých namrdávačů mu domluvil už od mala práci nakládaní nákladu v docích. Později mu došlo, proč to asi udělal. Ale byl zabto vděčný. Zlom v životě nastal, když se v gymu potkal s lidma od Goliášů. Pochopil, že jde dělat něco víc, než jen makat. Pokorně dopíjel Goliášcké nápoje, co po nich zůstávaly a občas prohledával šatny, jestli nenajde i něco víc. Věděl, že podstupují nějakou modifikaci. Rostl víc než ostatní ale ne tolik, jako Goliáši. Nakonec se na to přišlo, zmlátili ho do kuličky a zakázali mu tam chodit. Po rekonvalescenci si v docích domluvil přesun na stanoviště mimo hive, sehnal si zbraň a počkal si na poslíčka s nápoji a injekcemi pro Goliáše. Z posilovny věděl, kdo to je. Poté, co musel poslíčkovi uříznout ruku, protože kufřík měl přidělaný k ruce řerězem, pochopil, že z mise se nemůže vrátit do hive. Nikdy. 

Po přesunu mimo hive se mu podařilo dostat se do kufru a postupně začal využívat jeho obsahu. Občas musel zabít nějakého kolegu, aby měl co jíst a aby si prodloužil pobyt. Při jednom z nájezdů na jejich stanici místo aby pomohl obraně, vzal obří průmyslovou pilu a rozřízl obranného servitora, který přemohl šéfa povstalců a jal se jej popravit. Položil na leadra gangu pilu a dal mu nabídku, která se neodmítá. Na'omi není blbá a tak velkýho chlapáka s takovým nářadím by neodmítla, ani kdyby jí nešlo o život.

Shabet měla od malička štěstí. Teda, určitou formu štěstí. Když byla malá a razie vtrhla do jejich domova a zmasakrovala všechny vevnitř, ji přehlédli. Když ji pak našli další návštěvníci, co šli rabovat, neměli hlad a ujmuli se jí. Její adoptivní gang byly převážně ženy, takže ji ani moc neznásilňovali. Dařilo se jí v maličkostech, prostě nikdy nešlápla do hovna a když jo, tak už bylo uschlé. Toto jí však přivodilo do hledáčku rodu Ty. Rod Ty obchodoval s psykery a zde bylo podezření veliké. Už při prvních, vcelku přátelských testech, dokázala v davu najít parii. Přítomnost silnějších parií jí byla velmi nepříjemná. Prokázala sice, že je psyker ale dlouhodobý trénink u ní nerozvíjel žádné dovednosti. Ani po mučení, znásilňování a různých drastických zákrocích a zkouškách, které ji měly pomoci sáhnout do svého nitra a čerpat z moci Warpu se nic nestalo. Byla tak na nějaký čas přiřazena k hledačům parii s tím, že bude naložena do další Černé lodi. V tento moment již byla zmrzačena, zohavena a zneuctěna natolik, že se v davu musela pohybovat celá zahalena. Těsně před příletem Černé lodi se, ke svému štěstí, připletla do vnitřních záležitostí rodu Ty a s Na'omi se vydala mimo hive. V relativním klidu pustiny se její dar štěstí začal rozvíjet více...
