After Valduk and the Brothers Grimm pursued their final showdown at Coldun's summit, the Conduits of Ruin waited with baited breath for their leader to descend and lead them into a new age of chaos in the hive.
When the Voice of Kairos detonated as his plasma pistol overcharged, the flash was visible to the entire chaos cult.
Shadar'Kai, the cult witch, tried to hold them together, but without Valduk's charisma or fighting capacity, the Conduits fell apart, and Stubs chose to continue fighting in the hive; the Fateweaver had chosen him, after all, and he was not one to ignore summons.
Trading in his long rifle for a more substantial heavy stubber, and exchanging his mesh armour for a crackling reflec shroud, Stubs followed the whispers in his ears and mind, shooting down any who stood in his path with surprising accuracy. He dreamed of greatness, a new title, and a reputation that would be spread far and wide.
Now, the Eye of Kairos has made his way to Hive Secundus; who knows what awaits him...
