Therion does not remember much of how he got here.

The hulking man remembers boarding the ship. The pitch-dark corridors filled with teeth and claws and blades.

He remembers the harsh bark of boltguns, the hiss of alien throats and the scream of chainswords sawing through chitin.

He remembers the smell of blood, so thick in the air he can taste it. 

He remembers the feeling of his blade bucking in his hand, nearly wrenching from his grip as serrated teeth bit into flesh. Who's teeth? Who's flesh? 

He remembers the pain. His squad falling. His arm torn clean from the shoulder. The thrill of more blood to feed on. His armour torn apart as he fell beneath a tide of bone. The wave of nausea as his senses stopped making sense. An eternity of falling.

The cold stillness of the underhive. 

Yet even here, the xenos fester. 

He will continue his mission.
