Rules for the Navis Mortis wasteland surrounding the Needle
Thousands of years before the birth of the current Lord Helmawr, there was a schism within the Imperial House. In 459.M37, Lord Hyrodo Helmawr died suddenly while on a hunting expedition without naming an heir. His two eldest children, Lady Cinderak and Lord Gothrul both shared a claim to the mantle of planetary governor and they fought each other bitterly for over a century for the right to rule. Eventually, Cinderak triumphed and imprisoned Gothrul within his hive, the Needle, which had been one of Necromunda’s first spaceports. To cement her control she constructed the Eye of Selene and declared all inbound off-world goods and all outbound planetary production would now pass solely through Hive Primus.
In the centuries that followed, hundreds of ship captains thought to brave this blockade and land at the Needle. Cinderak proved the worth of her words and, as the years ground by, the wastes around the Needle grew thick with vessels shot down by the Eye of Selene and the Necromundan system fleet. To the nomads, it was known as the Time of Raining Iron, for not a cycle passed without a flaming wreck falling from the sky, and the growing field of wreckage soon became known as the Navis Mortis. Despite being a rich picking ground, Cinderak declared the region off-limits – she refused to let anyone profit from cargoes carried by the dead captains, and soon the borders of the crash zone were heavily patrolled by the armoured ash runners of the Palanite Enforcers. Of course, where there is loot, there will be looters.

Ship GraveyardYou never know when some unsuspecting scumer may activate an ancient machine or dangerous weapon and fire an old ship to ship combat weapons.
In the Pre-battle sequence before deployment roll a D6 and on a result of 6 their is a chance that a ships weapon will go off during the battle.
in the end phase of each round role another D6.
On a role of 1-4 the Discharge misses the battlefield.
On a role of a 5 a Macro-cannon fires place three 5" blast markers in contact with each other in the centre of the board and then scatter it 3D6" in a random direction. Any fighter that is under the Blast Marker takes a Strength 12, Ap -5, Damage 6 hit.
On a role of a 6 a Lance had been fired randomly role to decide which board edge the lance came from and place a 3" line on that edge anywhere from corner to corner decided by rolling 6D6 to see how many inches from the left corner it goes. Once this is decided and the line has been placed any fighter within that line across the board goes out of action and if possible terrain is removed as well.
Once this has gone off it cannot fire again.

Void Shield GeneratorIts an energy Shield of tremendous Power
If the owners gang is attacked at their home territory then they can declare a 9" by 9" area of the board that fighters within cannot be targeted by ranged attacks from fighters without this area. The ones inside can however still shoot out.
There should be a piece of terrain to represent the Generator as it can be attacked.
It has a Toughness of 10 and 5 wounds, if it is reduced to zero would it explodes and every fighter within 12" takes a Strength 10, Ap -4, Damage 4 hit. -
LootLoot found within the Shipyard. This is found on the battlefield as loot caskets. you can open them as normal loot caskets or you can carry them off a battlefield edge to get this loot profile.
1 - Dud, you get nothing but some boring old worthless trade.
2 - Cash, you find D3x10 credits
3 - Guns, roll on the basic weapons table
4 - Gear, roll on the personal equipment table
5 - Cash, you find D6x10 credits
6 - Jackpot you find one of your choice weapon that's R10-14 and with 100-150 credits. -
