Help build Gyrinx
There’s loads of ways to support our continued development

Gyrinx is an open-source, community-funded set of free tools for Necromunda. Our aim is to make playing the game more fun by simplifying the management of gangs, campaigns and custom content.
We’re built by a team of volunteers as a community good so more people can enjoy the game we all love.
Here are some ways you can get involved:
Support us on Patreon
The easiest way to support Gyrinx is by becoming a supporter on Patreon. At present, we are a loss-making enterprise, but if we were able to fully cover our basic costs we would be able to spend more on improving site performance, commissioning artists and expanding our community support. For less than the cost of a pot of paint per month, you can make a big difference to helping us grow.
Suggest ideas
You can submit ideas and feature requests via our ideas Discord channel, or directly via GitHub.
Help develop Gyrinx
Gyrinx is open-source, which means all of our code is public and anyone can help us build. We do this for main two reasons: so members of the community can help us build, and Gyrinx’s tools can be maintained if our original development team can’t continue working on it.
At the moment, almost all of our code development is driven by Tom, our resident enginseer, but we are would love to have more coders involved. So if you have some spare time and fancy a hobby project, please do contact Tom via tom@gyrinx.app or start contributing via GitHub.
Join the core team
With a new edition of Necromunda upon us, we’re hoping for a big influx of new players into the setting we all love! We’d love you to join us as we build new tools and continue to grow.
If you’re not a coder but fancy getting stuck in (or you’re a coder who fancies not doing any coding) you can join our “core team” of volunteers (aka Lord Helmawr’s brains trust). Here are some of the things we need help with:
- Content and feature development
- Community engagement and communications
- User experience design
- Revenue development
If you’re interested in any of those — or something not on that list that you think we should be doing — please contact Louis (manofwaaagh) via Discord or louis@gyrinx.app.
