(Season's don't fear) The Reaping 2026-02-10 #4

IT was an impromptue 3-way showdown; with the X-Scum using all three levels of their corner, snipers up-top and their brawlers in a unit down below. the Orlocks meanwhile where happy to play the range game, with their Granny in Falsehood slipping unnoticed down below. The ogryn on the other hand split in 3, 2 on the har left, 2 moving towards the Orlocks in the middle and 2 going right, after the X-Men

The Orlocks opened the shooting with their now signature Vortex party... dropping one on Storm and Cyclope's heads! Neither of the X-Leaders were caught up however and only a barricade paid the ultimate price. 

The Vun Suur employed their hoy-tex tactics, and turned the ground level of the battle into a smokescreen, and promptly advanced into it, a tactic Logan also coppied on the other side... But the Ogryn's bald heads were obviously sticking up above the smoke, because the BoH's took a couple of early shots getting first blood. 

Bolter fire from BoH made their intentions known to the Xmen while the Ogryn were still making their way. Except for the Lulz Cannon... who of course took a nose dive from a high place (as usual) bounding off his energy sheild no worse for wear. 

Knowning it was either charge or be charged, the X-Scum made a versitile assult on Megahurtz en-mas while his buddy was still in her smoke cloud, but all 3 either failed to hit or failed to wound. The Ogryn then made a 'desperate effort' to counter charge and close the gap. The fight would become 3 on 2 and last until the end of the battle, with the ogryn ultimately doing more damage than the X-men could land hits.

On the other side of the board BoH let off warp rounds, driving everyone involved mad, and in the center made good use of their Falsehood to take ground the burn Logan out of his smokey cover. 

Smartacus felt inspired by that, pressed a new button and his servo-claw deployed a handy hand-flamer, which roasted both rat and granny-ridding-hood and tipping the balance of the battle.

With the final Rumble on the horrizon however, 2 gangs decided their efforts (and ammo) was best spent fighting for the grand prize rather than again the wall of bulk that was Vun Suur and conceeded to fight another day.
