Overview

Harry Kang, Forger Tyrant of the Kings of the Molten River, looked out over the foundry's machinery, the glow of molten metal rising from crucibles as they moved down the production line. The foundry hall clamored with the yelled orders of forge bosses and cries of slaves as they worked to ensure the flow of superheated metal moved in time to the demands of the greater hive's industry.

Kang turned from the foundry's glow, bringing his lighter up to reignite the cigar that had gone out between his teeth. As the spark illuminated his craggy features, he glared out and took in the rest of the room's occupants. His subordinates were arrayed about the room, awaiting his next words. The Kings of the Molten river, a moniker adopted so that none knew to dispute their dominance over the regions manufactory capacity, looked on as Harry Kang, the King, took a draw from his cigar.

"We've gone soft" he said, exhaling smoke "no other gangs have dared move in on our territory in the last 3 seasons, and we're getting out of practice" He took another draw "It's time we reminded them why we're the King's around here"

Adora "Bull", Duke of the Forge, taking a heavy step forward "The foundry is strong, and production has been meeting quotas without issue. Expanding will draw out our strength and expose us."

"That's a load of slag, and you know it" Ghyg the Mountain said, rising from the table where he was picking chems out of his kit "We've been frakking around here for too long waiting for the rest of the hive to take a shot at us, while those scrawny Cawdor and Orlocks claim more territories around us." He slotted a chem into his gauntlet and triggered it into his bloodstream. "The King is right, it's time to remind them who's the mightiest of this sector." His eyes went wide as the chems hit his nervous system.

The Bull turned to Ghyg, exhaling loudly in mocking laughter "You've been upping the dose on those back alley chems, you haven't had a thought worth a frak in a dozen cycles." He stepped up to Ghyg, stabbing a thick finger into his chest. "If you want to prove yourself so badly, you can take a swing and see how chemsick you really are"

Ghyg glowered and brought his fists up to strike, but a grunt from Harry Kang stopped him.

"Save it for the scrawnies outside" Kang growled "The foundry may be operating, but we need more creds if we're to pay for the chems we need from the Eschers, and expand our ranks." He gazed around the room "Prepare yourselves and get what you need from the trading post, we roll out in 3 cycles"
