🐰 Lore of The Pink Powder Paws (PPP)

Deep in the sump-stained warrens of Necromunda’s underhive, where the air is thick with chem-smog and the shadows crawl with worse things than men, there is whispered talk of a gang more feared for their madness than their muscle. They are called The Pink Powder Paws — the PPP.

To outsiders, they are a joke: thugs in ragged rabbit suits, ears lolling and whiskers daubed in paint. But for those who live beneath the rule of the PPP, there is no laughter — only fear. For behind the painted masks and the powder-dusted fluff is a cult, devoted to the worship of a monstrous, half-mythical god-beast: The Great Burrower, Lapinoth the Ever-Hungry.

The PPP believe Lapinoth is a divine rabbit of the warp, a spirit that tunnels between realities, gnawing at the roots of the hive itself. Their leader, the wyrd known as Twitch Black-Eye, claims to hear the god’s scratching claws in his skull each night. His left eye, always twitching and bloodshot, is said to see the “Burrow Paths” — secret routes through walls, ducts, and even the veil between worlds. Whether madness or true warp-vision, his gang believes utterly in his sight.

🩸 The Narco Connection

Though fanatics, the PPP are no isolated cult. They are under the leash (loosely) of one of the Narco Lords, peddling “pink powder” — a hallucinogenic chem that stains the lips and noses of its users a rosy hue. It is whispered that the drug is mixed with ground-up sump-shrooms and trace warp-dust, said to bring visions of Lapinoth. Whether true or not, addicts of pink powder claim to see twitching shadows and hear phantom laughter in the dark.

The PPP deal it by the fistful, marking their territories with crude spray-painted bunnies, ears long and eyes black pits. Where those marks appear, violence soon follows.

🐇 Bunny Suits & Burrow Wars

Every member of the gang dresses in mockery of innocence — patched-up bunny suits, stitched together from scavenged cloth, old carnival costumes, and bloody sackcloth. Their masks are cracked and yellowed with sweat, their rabbit ears often nailed or riveted to battered helmets.

When they fight, they howl and shriek in unison, calling on Lapinoth to guide their paws. They scratch crude rabbit glyphs into their autoguns and paint their grenades like carrots. Their Ambot — known only as The Steel Bunny — lumbers into battle with crude metal ears welded to its carapace, worshipped by the PPP as a lesser avatar of their god.

🌑 Reputation

To hive scum and guilders alike, the PPP are a nightmare. Their raids are unpredictable — sometimes they’ll burn a chem-den to the ground for being “unfaithful burrows,” other times they’ll flood a dome with free powder just to watch the addicts tear each other apart. They laugh as they do it, ears flopping, twitching in their cracked masks.

Their name alone is enough to make merchants pay “bunny tax” to keep their shops unburrowed, and rival gangs mark their maps with rabbit symbols to avoid straying into PPP warrens.

⚰️ “The Burrow Comes for All”

To the Pink Powder Paws, death is no end. Twitch Black-Eye teaches that Lapinoth waits at the deepest burrow, gnawing on the bones of the forgotten. Every kill, every addict made, every spray-painted rabbit mark is a tithe to their god.

When you hear the scrape of paint on metal and see a pink rabbit glyph daubed on the wall, it is already too late. The bunnies are watching.
