Overview

Tasked with enforcing the ruling houses’ will in the Rustspire, this Palanite detachment is officially a force of law—but appearances are often deceiving. Known on the streets as the Spire Hounds, the gang is underfunded, under-equipped, and forced to supplement its resources by skimming profits, imposing “fines,” and making local deals. Under Captain Severin Drachos, a young and somewhat idealistic officer, the gang walks a fine line: maintaining order for the houses while exploiting the sector for survival. Drachos tries to keep his men focused on their mandate, but pragmatism often wins out over principle, and the Spire Hounds operate as both enforcers and a power unto themselves, feared, resented, and occasionally respected by the gangs they are meant to police.
