The Teknocratic Order of House Tallonbörg

Underhive Outcasts

Overview

(Book Of The Outcast pg07) Then there are the ‘nobles’ of House Tallonbörg, who present as more machine than human. Technocrats of old, they replace much of their body with metal, armour and servo-powered limbs, so that it is difficult to tell what remains of their humanity. Legend has it that it was the Tallonbörg who created the first Murder-Cyborgs, and even now hold secret contracts with the Clan Houses for their creation.

In his efforts to restore the Noble House of Tallonbörg from his base of operations in Cog Port Viktor Von Tallonborg seeks out individuals from across the Underhive, convinced of their noble lineage by the ravings of his father's servo-skull; Lore.

Lore recites for Viktor; 'The Imperial Dynasty of the Teknocrattic Order of Tallonbörg' and

so guided, Viktor convinces those unknowing (and unlikely) decedents that they, like he, have been robbed of their true birthright and that their lot in life is due to conspiracies and betrayals ancient and modern.

There must, many agree, be something persuasive in Viktors words, because many chose not only to adopt the family Purple, but to take on its other undeniable legacy, removal of the weak an easily betrayed flesh - to be replaced with incorruptible metal.

The Tallonbörg patriarch orchestrates loyal bands of these mechanistically mutilated followers and the employed services of Imperial Impostors to try and manipulate the many machinations in the multifarious layers of Up-Hive and Spire bureaucracy.
