The word "beastman" is seen as a derogatory description of their kind in many herds, such as the Indegor herd, that Un'Leesh calls his tribe. But the nickname "The Beast" was not given out of disrespect, rather than awe. Even among beastmen warriors, his relentless charges and terrifying appearence could only described as bestial. Un'Leesh (meaning: ferocious, pronounced: un-leʂ) is not exactly thrilled to be given this name, though he still told his venator band with a grain of pride.

As a former oath-bound bodyguard, Gorlok keeps a shameful secret. The fact that he has lost his status and is still alive can only mean one of two things: his master died and Gorlok failed to protect him or he brought shame over his master and was released from his duties. Gorlok never speaks about the topic or in general; so nobody really knows the truth. Un'Leesh could find out that Gorlok is A: capable of talking, but refuses to until he sees his oath fulfilled and B: carries a list of people in his chest that need to be killed before he considers his oath fulfilled. This inspired Un'Leesh to form and name this band.

As Un'Leesh has founded the Oath-Menders, he was looking for a fixer. However, instead of a low-profile Hanger-On who fixed the relations to other groups, he was introduced to a fucking heavy-weapon-lunatic, whose interpretation of fixing was to kill anyone in bad relations to them. Certain that Stanislav will be a liability, Un'Leesh refused his application.

However, it was the same night that Stanislav proved his way of fixing things to Un'Leesh by rescuing him from a group of Goliath Bullies with an opinion about Beastmen. Thus "Plasma Stan" was recruited as a full Hunter rather than a Hanger-On.
