The Revenants

An Ordo sleeper cell “The Vantaris Revenants ” was activated within the under-hives of  Necromunda to investigate persistent rumours of xenos technology circulating within House Van Saar supply channels. The mission was conducted under sealed writ by Inquisitor <Redacted> of the Ordo Xenos.

Shortly after activation of the cell,  Inquisitor <Redacted> was detained by elements of the Ordo Hereticus under allegations of radicalism. His assets were seized and operatives subsequently declared Excommunicate Traitoris. Funding, equipment requisition and astropathic clearance were revoked.

Stranded in the underhive, the cell has been forced to rely on established contacts, including former Astra Militarum veterans and limited Munitorum adepts to secure arms. Resources are scarce, the limitless Ordo funds are now inaccessible.

Interrogator Bale, formerly a House Van Saar juve and rising Ordo agent, finds himself at a cross roads. Does he clear his lords name? Or, does he embrace what the imperium thinks he is, a radical, a heretic

Whether the Van Saar rumours are fabrication or truth is now irrelevant. Survival has become the primary objective, regardless of the collateral damage. The Revenants are awake, the reaper is owed his dues.
