Escape the Zone 2025-07-19 #2

While exploring the outer reaches of the Underhells the Rejects and Hellbound Nomads made contact. The tense standoff escalated int9 conflict when neither group was willing to back down.

A short but fierce firefight occured which roused the local Malstrain infestation, a mysterious and lethal group unique to Hive Secondus. Both gangs soon realized the danger they were in, and raced to escape the claws of the Malstrain.

With safety only coming from one direction the gangs continued to skirmish as they fled trading shots at a distance, any stragglers being picked off by the monstrous hordes.

As they got closer to escape the Hellbound Nomads made a desperate play to stop the Rejects from cutting them off, ramming their Ferryman Rig, The Wheelhouse into Bertha, the Rejects counterpart. Both Rigs suffered serious damage but remained functional. 

With the Wheelhouse in range The Ogryn threw a demolition charge through it's windshield wrecking the vehicle. 

With the Rejects in control of the escape the Hellbound Nomads were left to fend off the encroaching Malstrain and slink through the cracks to safety.
