The Ash Vixens of the House of Escher heard about the trouble in Prospect's Ledge, and have sent a small group to see if that trouble could be exploited for the good of the House.  After the death of Kellen Risbig getting flushed down the loo, the people were taken to say that he took a leap from his ledge (so they say) and various leadership since had been of mixed effectiveness.  The glorious House of Escher decided that a group that was familiar with the lay of the land would be best to investigate the potential for future profits.  A mixture of girls who had operated in Prospect's Ledge before and a few new up and comers under the leadership of the Gang Queen Selene would be sent to ensure that the credits flowed in the correct direction, towards House Escher.
