Many folks, including some within House Van Saar, think Vandor Hiatt is past his best. Some even say he's losing his mind, but Vandor has a plan. It might not make him popular, but he has a plan. He knows the source of the sickness that consumes the Van Saar, and he is determined to make sure his descents don't suffer the same fate. 

Kuiper is Vandor's right hand man, and their shared history goes back to their teenage years. Kuiper tends to hang back with Luc Janson and give covering fire. 

Honest to a fault, no nonsense, and always on hand to defend his friends, everyone wants Stephan in their corner. 

Timo Hiatt is the grandson of Vandor Hiatt, however their relationship is strained. Timo blames his grandfather for the death of his father - who died while on a secret assignment.

Karla is part of the sprawling Van Dien family. She is keen to prove herself and gain a promotion. Stephan says she a little too keen and has taken her under his wing - as much to keep her alive as anything else. 

Luc Jansen is an older ganger and rumours are that he's been in a few gangs, but he doesn't like to talk about it.

Pieter Maier is from one of the smaller families sworn to House Hiatt. He is a rather laconic fellow so no one knows much about him. Regardless, Vandor trusts him and Pieter accompanies the prime everywhere. 

Daria Van Sante is Vandor Hiatt's niece. She's supposed to help out with the upkeep of the archni-rig, and tend to the medical needs of the gang, but she has a habit of hovering around her uncle unless told otherwise. 

Adrianus prefer machines to people, so it's no great surprise he became an servo suit pilot. Adrianus has not been in combat before and is hoping he can make his House proud.

Spin Van Dien was never particularly suited to combat, but he has a way with people and often comes by useful information. He wants to create a safe and stable settlement, far from House Van Saar - but it seems the other gangs are going to give House Hiatt a rough ride.

Vandor Hiatt found the Stranger in the Ash Wastes, missing both his hands and close to death. The xenos serves Vandor to pay back his debt but had made no secret that he will return to his people should he ever find them.
